BIC (Byrne’s Mill Improvement Committee) looks forward to the opening of the second season of the Byrne’s Mill Farmer’s Market on May 7, 2010.

Many of our anchor venders will be returning with produce, eggs, honey, baked goods, plant starts, perennials and shrubs, fish, cut flowers, jams and jellies. We have some new venders with enticing additions including; an organic grower who also imports olive oil from a small farm in Greece that he says, “Is to die for!”, in addition he sells raised bed garden kits of cedar, including the seeds. He will also give in-services on home vegetable gardening in raised beds. We have a new soap hand maker, natural laundry soap maker, children’s clothing crafter and a bird house crafter.

We are also excited to announce that Company B Bar-B-Que will be catering the market and the Lion’s Club will be there with a snow cone machine and a popcorn machine to add to the fun.

We will be located in the same location as last year in the lower part of Byrne’s Mill Park. The Park is located on Lower Byrne’s Mill Road off highway 30 between High Ridge and House Springs. Just follow the signs from Highway 30.

We will be open on alternate Fridays between the hours of 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Our dates are the following: May 7, 21 June 11, 25 July 9, 23 August 13, 27 September 10, 24 and October 8, 22.

The market venders will join BIC and the N.W. Historical and Preservation Society in the Third Annual Fall Festival on October 2, 10-5.
